Here at Inside Out Group we’re excited to be moving into a new year of business. With many projects already on the horizon for 2019, we look forward to having another memorable year filled with new and exciting challenges. As we get stuck into the new year, we take a quick look back at some of our best films of 2018. Take a look!
5. rail staff awards 2018
Last years Rail Staff Awards was a monumental event for the UK’s rail industry, recognising some of the industry’s best staff from 2018. Featuring live dance & theatrical performances, world class food catering and even an indoor fairground- the event was certainly a memorable one. Our film for Rail Media showcases the glorious event in full, from the arrival of the first guests to the final awards ceremony.
4. network rail FORD END ROAD BRIDGE rEDEVELOPMENT
As part of Network Rail’s electrification of the Midland Main Line, Bedford’s Ford End Road Bridge required major redevelopment. This was to ensure that the bridge could accommodate new 25,000 volt overhead line equipment. The four month long project was filmed by us through a mix of conventional footage and time lapse footage shot from our on-site systems. The Ford End Road bridge redevelopment film now serves as one of our most engaging and dynamic rail based films to date. Learn more about our work on this project here.
3. the university of warwick’s sport & wellness hub film collection
OK- so number 3 on this list might be a cop-out, but these films really need to be viewed side by side to truly gauge the scale of this project. Willmott Dixon’s construction of the University of Warwick Sport & Wellness Hub is almost at its completion, and we’ve been filming the construction every step of the way. The £37M project has been a huge endeavour for Willmott Dixon, but the completed facility will be more than worth the effort, as it will fuel the University of Warwick’s ambition of being the most ‘physically active campus in the UK by 2020’. Below are the first three films we’ve produced for Willmott Dixon, showcasing their construction of the Sport & Wellness Hub. Each of the below films focuses on a particular aspect of the construction process, utilising a dynamic mix of conventional footage and time lapse footage. 2. nottingham city homes’ lenton housing redevelopment
Nottingham City Homes’ Lenton housing redevelopment project saw the complete transformation of two housing sites in Lenton, Nottingham. The project saw the demolition and subsequent replacement of five high-rise flat blocks and nearby housing at these sites. The end result was 142 new, modern and affordable homes for families in the area. Our film for this project showcases its very beginnings in 2013 and its completion in 2018. 1. KELTBRAY’s EARLS COURT REDEVELOPMENT
Our Earls Court redevelopment film for client Keltbray takes the number 1 spot on this list. This film showcases Keltbray’s redevelopment of London’s Earls Court so far. Compiled from a range of footage dating back to 2014, this film shows some of the projects’ key milestones to date, such as the erection and use of the AL.SK190 Super Crane. This latest Keltbray Earls Court redevelopment film ultimately stacks up as one of our most impressive construction films to date, as it features some of the most wide-scale and dynamic time lapse footage that we’ve ever shot. We look forward to continuing work with Keltbray on this project.
